Born in Sendai City, Miyagi. Graduated from the Department of Instrumental Music in the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts. Placed second in the 3rd Japan Horn Competition as well as in the Horn Category in the 86th Music Competition of Japan. Placed first in the Horn Category in the 35th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. Performed together with the Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra and the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra as a soloist. Starred on the “Recital Nova” program on the NHK-FM radio network. Has studied the horn under Kazuyuki Suda, Takeshi Hidaka, Takato Saijo and Ryosuke Tomono thus far.
Serves as a player the NHK Symphony Orchestra, as a core member of the Japan National Orchestra, and as a member of the Horsh horn ensemble.
